Revenue Model

  • Annual revenue per subscriber: £36 (£3 per month)
  • Average active time in Year 1: 6.5 months per subscriber
  • Subscribers are assumed to be acquired evenly throughout the 12 months
  • Each monthly cohort generates revenue only for the remaining months in Year 1

Monthly Ramp Calculation

The 6.5-month average is calculated as follows:

  • January subscribers are active for 12 months
  • February subscribers are active for 11 months
  • March subscribers are active for 10 months
  • ... and so on
  • December subscribers are active for 1 month

Average = (12 + 11 + 10 + 9 + 8 + 7 + 6 + 5 + 4 + 3 + 2 + 1) ÷ 12 = 6.5 months

Revenue Formula

  • Year 1 Revenue = Total Subscribers × (£36 ÷ 12) × 6.5
  • Year 1 Revenue = Total Subscribers × £3 × 6.5
  • Year 1 Revenue = Total Subscribers × £19.50
